Movie: The Simpsons movie
Simpsons fans, no, I’m not talking about Jessica Simpson. I’m talking about The Simpsons. This is one movie anyone living in the civilized world shouldn’t miss. Thanks to 988 and Stephanie, I practically laughed from the start of the movie til the end (closing credit not included).
What’s this movie about? Here’s a quick synopsis of it. The polution of Lake Springfield reached a critical stage and everyone in town decide to be good and stop polluting it. In that time, Homer’s dad had a vision of God and spoke of grave danger happening to the residents of Springfield but no one takes him seriously. Homer found himself a pig when he and Bart went to Krusty’s for dinner and brought it home. Shit happens and Lake Springfield became toxic… ok.. that’s about as far as I’d go. As usual, the 10 things I learn from this movie
- The Lyric to the song for Homer’s pig goes like this: [singing Tune to Spider-Man Theme Song] Spider-Pig, Spider-Pig. Does whatever a Spider-Pig does. Can he swing from a web? No he can’t, cause he’s a pig. Look out! He is the Spider-Pig!
- The Simpsons is still as funny as it was first produced
- If the prophecy of this movie is correct, Arnie is going to be the next President of America.
- Tom Hanks guest starred in this feature film.
- Only in Simpsons can you find a dome big enough to cover an entire Springfield.

- Only in Springfield can you see the four states that border it: Ohio, Nevada, Maine, and Kentucky!
- The Simpson’s movie will debut in Springfield, Vermont. 20th Century Fox held a contest to select 1 of 16 possible Springfields (spanning from Oregon to Nebraska to Massachusetts) to decide which city will host the premiere. Springfield, Vermont won, just beating out Springfield, Illinois.
- Homer taught us that if you can ride a bike fast enough, you can go up and around a giant dome the size of a small town.
