Gen2 Sedan
I received this over the email earlier today. Check it out.
Looks like Proton’s hype of a "Newly-Born. But Destined to go Places" car is nothing more than a Gen2 with a slightly longer rear. Effectively a Sedan version of Gen2 or Gen2 Sedan.

In terms of the specs, this is what I got off the Proton’s website.
1.6 Base Line Model – 2 variants (AT and MT). Indicative on the road price – RM45+++. This variant is a Base model with 4 power windows, CD player and basic features.
1.6 Medium Line Model – 2 variants (AT and MT). Indicative on the road price – RM 49+++. This variant is the Medium range model and has additional features from the Base Line variant, such as driver’s side airbag, alloy rims, foldable rear seats, MP3 player and electric door mirror.
1.6 High Line Model – (Only available in AT). Indicative on the road price – RM 55+++. This variant is an extension of the Medium range variant, with features such as dual airbags, ABS, EBD and standard Captor alarm.
The interest rate for financing the car is 4.1% and the Delivery lead-time from booking date is approximately 4-6 weeks. Status of delivery lead-time will be communicated regularly. This is of course, very subjective as through past experience, if you don’t give duit kopi, you’d be expecting a waiting time of 3 – 6 months before you are called to collect your car.
Now that you’ve taken a look at the car, what do you think? Like it?
