Negaraku & Namewee
Over the last couple of weeks, one of the issue that has taken the limelight from all the other news is the issue of the Malaysian student in Taiwan creating a Music Video and "tarnish" the country’s name.
Now, for me, what I see is that the politicians is taking this opportunity to harp on this issue and present themselves in a good light as well as to proof to the public that they are just doing it for the sake of the country. Am not going to point out names and all but you know who you are.
Now, one of the problem why this issue become so explosive is, basically people take the song out of context and jump to conclusion on what they lyrics is all about. Well, that’s what I felt. Anyway. Namewee is come out over the weekend to explain himself and his lyrics. Specially for those of us who does not understand Mandarin. You can read more about it here.
At the end of the day, I know that everyone wants to show that they care for the country. But sometimes, it’s best to find out the meaning behind it before you jump to conclusion and go on a Witch hunt. Right?
