Can you imagine driving 500+km to a place just to have Wan Tan Mee? Nope, I didn’t just travel over 500km to a place just to have Wan Tan Mee. But that’s what I had for lunch. 5hours drive to a small fishing village/town called Sungai Rengit sure is tiring, and the best way to reward ourselves? A good lunch before work starts.
At first, I was just aiming for the Wan Tan Mee… then I saw the cook holding out a tray of….
Wild Boar meat! I just had to get myself some…
The two dishes complimented each other very well. IMHO of course.
I can’t say that these are the best Wan Tan Mee and Wild Boar meat I’ve eaten but then, heck, you try driving 500km+ to anywhere, any food you eat will taste nice.
