Red Arrow in TUDM

Yesterday, the public had a great show by the Red Arrow team of Great Britain as well as the Indian Air Force at TUDM’s base in Subang. Naturally, I was there to soak in the excitement as well as the fumes from the jets. My shots are as below…

Feel free to let me know what you think of these shots and to view the rest of the album, you can view them @ Red Arrow and The Indian Air Force @ TUDM (29 November 2007)

Ah Wah Siu Kai Yik

Peel Road has a famous restaurant Queen. In it has a famous stall specializes in BBQ Chicken Wings.

Yup, we’re talking about the Wong Ah Wang Siu Kai Yik. It is said that this place is even better than what you eat at Jalan Alor. Apart from Chicken wings, they also have Drumsticks, quarter chicken and so forth, so there are varieties.

Here’s my take on the BBQ Chicken Wings.

Apart from the BBQ Chicken wings, another stall that caught my attention was this one selling Nasi Lemak, it was packed with people lining up, so I just have to give it a try. And these was what I picked up.

What do you think? Looks good? Or you know of a better place with better BBQ Chicken Wings?

Salsa Havana - 70s Salsa Party

The recent Saturday was a blast in a way, it’s been a long while since I step into a Salsa club and finally got back to Salsa Havana and it felt good. Loads of familiar faces and guess what? People still remembers me! LOL.

The first person who greeted me other than the bouncers was Martin himself, coming out from the Deejay console just to have a quick chat with me and ask me why I’ve dissappeared! Well, sorry dude… work and lack of practice, am shy to dance and screw up on the dance floor.

As it was the last saturday of the month, Ritmo Latino had the theme set to the 70s Salsa Party, so everyone’s supposed to come dressed in their best 70s look… except for yours truly. Yeah, I didn’t know there’s a theme as it was a last minute thing. But heck, it was still good.

It’s been so long since I last dance that I actually felt tired on Sunday morning. LOL… coupled with the fact that I’ve to go for a football match that morning. It wasn’t a pretty sight looking at myself on the pitch… but that’s another story.

Later into the night, Martin played the Maghalena song and I got pulled onto the dance floor to start the Maghalena dance. Quite funny that quite a number of the salsa dancers didn’t know this dance when it has been around for ages. And then, there was the drinking… yup.. the night’s never complete without some alcohol…

Oh yeah… we celebrated Camellia’s birthday then too.. so Happy Birthday to you Camellia…. for more photos, go here!

Richard Simmons in Whose line is it anyway?

This definitely made my day as I woke up and needed a video to give me a good laugh. I can watch it over and over again and just laugh and laugh. It’s hilarious. So am sharing it with you all to have a laugh as well.

TGIF Conquered!

I’m sure some of you who cared would remembered that I won the TGIF contest from Nuffnang. Well, today, I decide to take that voucher and use it.

Yes, I’m freaking sick on Monday, with a bad flu, sore throat and also fever. But heck, I went through work feeling miserable so I should be rewarded.

MiSsMyNx waiting for the chance to grab the voucher from me.

Took MiSsMyNx to TGIF@The Curve for dinner today to enjoy my windfall and I can tell you, the meal we had never felt this huge before. I mean, really, we couldn’t finish our meal. What we had for dinner?

We started off with some appertisers such as …

Onion Rings

Buffalo Wings (But these looks like chicken wings to me…. [in my pathetic Jesica Simpson impression])

MiSsMyNx had the Mushroom Chicken Mushroom (such a unique way to name the main Course)

and I had the one dish that won me this voucher. The Jack Daniels’ Burger!

The meal was great. The portion was such that we couldn’t finish most of the food and both of us was bloody full. Even now, I’m still stuffed from the meal.

Thanks again TGIF and Nuffnang for making this possible. Looking forward to more!!
