Karen Kong Meets The Fans
On Saturday evening, while I have a few hours to spare til I head over to Salsa Havana, I decide to walk about in Low Yat, BB Plaza and Sungai Wang and as I head into Sungai Wang. I see drove and drove of people hanging around the concourse area. So my curiousity got the best of me and I went to ‘investigate’. Lo and Behold! It’s a meet the fan session by a local singer.
Who is she? Karen Kong! Not related to a friend of mine who by chance is also surnamed Kong and is a fellow photographer. Anyway, talking to the organizer, I manage to get a nice seat at the front of the stage and yeah, as usual, my camera armed and ready and got a few nice shots. The lighting was a tad weird so I have to play with my flash throughout the whole performance to see which one turns out better and so forth.
