Voting Day!

(Driving to SM Damansara Jaya to cast my vote at 2pm)
It’s the voting day where all Malaysians that is a registered voters would leave their home early in the morning to line up at the school compound to cast their votes. As for me? I’ve cast my votes in as well but not in the morning. It took my parents about an hour despite them able to use the Senior Citizen lines to cast their votes this morning.

(The right school but where’s the huge lines of people?)
It took me 10mins to cast mine. The breakdown of the 10minutes?
- 2minutes to walk from car to the checking counter to have my ID verified
- 4minutes to walk from that counter to the room on the 2nd floor of SMDJ. Why so long? I bumped into a friend and chit chatted a bit before continuing my way to the room.
- 1minute to have my full name and I/C number shouted to the various officers in the room
- 1minute to fill up the 2 slips of voting paper (photography not allowed in the voting booth
). - 2minutes was wasted on taking some photographs and lastly…
- 2minutes to get to my car and leave the place.

(Are you sure there’s an election going on? There’s no one!!
)That’s all it took me to cast my votes a responsible citizen. Have you done your share of responsibility to ensure the right government rules the country?

(Mari la Mari… Kita Mengundi!!
Heading to the room to cast my vote)
